Flea naturally aspirated 2ZZ build

Flea is a 1997 Toyota Corolla II EL51 built around a naturally aspirated Toyota 2ZZ-GE. The car is light, front-wheel drive, manual, and developed through repeated dyno and track testing instead of a one-time parts list.

Engine

High-compression 2ZZ-GE with MWR Stage 2 cams, upgraded head work, oil-control upgrades and high-rpm race preparation.

ECU

FuelTech FT550 with wideband, oil-pressure and fuel-pressure monitoring, gear detection, launch control and datalogging.

Fuel and ignition

Fuel Factory FX7 race fuel, Snake Eater 1000 cc/min injectors and IGN1A coils.

Drivetrain

C60 6-speed, 4.529 final drive, MFactory LSD, Action Stage 3 clutch and MWR lightweight flywheel.

Front tire

M&H Racemaster 23x8-13 slicks on VMS Revolver 13x8 wheels.
